Fakes and authenticities

A scene and its painted representation;
A scene and its description;
A painting and its photographic reproduction;
A painting and its perfect (hand-made) copy;
A painting and its appropriationistic counterpart (Bidlo);
Ironic copies (Duchamp’s L.H.O.O.Q.);
Transformation into art (Warhol’s Brillo Boxes;
Jeff Koons’ Italian-made sculpture after the Art Rogers’ photograph of German Shepherd Puppies;
Performances of classical compositions;
Covers in pop-music;
The use of samples in pop-music;
Self-plagiazing;
etc.
